As a young enthusiast, Matt was introduced to traditional metal shaping techniques by an experienced craftsman who taught him how to work sheet metal by hand. Long before today’s commercial fender rollers became commonplace, fender modifications were performed using patience, skill, and a deep understanding of how automotive sheet metal behaves.
When modern fender rolling tools entered the market, those traditional skills were adapted to newer equipment.
